We all want a piece of the luxury life so if you ever have the chance of doing something that’s way outside of your daily life, you want to grab it by the horns and take advantage right? Or if it’s a very special occasion, here are a few ways to do a luxury holiday.
The Destination
You certainly won’t find these destinations on offer anytime soon. There are a few lucrative holiday locations that you’re now likely to see appearing on any of the sales pages of the holiday agents. Notable spots include Bora Bora, that has seen the likes of the Kardashians and Johnny Depp staying in this exclusive area. It’s an island on its own and surrounded by sea. The ultimate private experience.
Fly Private or Business
If you have money to burn, the cost of renting a charter plane should set you back a fair bit. With the cheapest coming in at $2,000-$3,000 an hour, this is well deserving of a luxury tag. Flying business or upper class is also super expensive and unless your business is paying for you or you’ve used your air miles, this can end up costing you a fortune. But being savvy with air miles comes in handy when wanting to fly first class…so make sure you check those e-mails for air miles promotions!
Try A Cruise
A cruise might not be to everyone’s tastes but it’s certainly a luxury holiday and the chance to visit multiple destinations. There are many cruises that are now available that travel through various parts of the world and as all your luxuries are on board in one place, the only thing you’ll need to do yourself is to get off every so often to explore the different locations it anchors at.
All Inclusive
It’s an option that many of us opt for, especially those with kids because it just makes everything a little easier. The all-inclusive boarding might set you back a few hundred dollars each but it means all your food and dining options will be covered in the resort and it means that kids can painfully waste all of the food they want.
Pamper Yourself Silly
A lot of luxury resorts will normally have a spa area, offering all of the wonderful facials and body massages known to man. And what better way to spoil yourself with a few treatments during your stay. It’s an extra luxury that should be taken advantage of if it’s available.
Rooms With All The Necessities
Rooms that ooze luxury will probably have all of the latest technology and high-end interiors that make daily living, a breeze. With all of the advancements in technology, expect to see a device that controls all elements of the room. A rainforest shower and stand-alone bath is expected and if the bed isn’t that comfy that you’re seriously considering a duvet day, then it’s not a luxury!
Unless you are earning in the millions, a lot of these luxury elements may not be within reach for some. But thankfully nowadays, there are a lot more opportunities to live in a little bit of luxury on a budget. What is your ideal luxury holiday?
